The Six media elements used in the Omica Shower Filter:
♦ Activated Coconut Carbon from Sri Lanka (not just any carbon) -- Regular activated coconut carbons are usually not very effective in high water temperature filtration.
♦ Zinc & Copper -- Oxidation-reduction process known as “redox” (an electrochemical reaction) to transfer electrons between molecules, thus creating new elements. In this way, the structure of harmful contaminants are changed into harmless particles; the chlorine atoms are converted into benign chloride ions that wash safely down the drain.
♦ Crystal Quartz (No Calcium sulfite) -- Helps reduce dissolved free chlorine gas and also help soften water which is critical for giving your skin & hair a softer feel and shinier look.
Zinc & Copper Combined with the Omica Crystal Quartz Significantly extend the life of the Sri Lankan Activated Coconut Carbon which continue to effectively filter and handle higher water heat temperatures.
